RDAG AND BIGFOOT HUNTERS - RDAG - Fotopages.com

RDAG... was a crazy adventure group established back in 1995. Started with huge and big team members mostly in our 18-20 years old, and now getting less hardcore adventure after members getting 'bigger' in waist measurement ! One of our most memorable trip was Trans-Titiwangsa Expedition back in 1997, a gruelling 8 days expedition and various more awesome adventures.... till now, most of team member switching to more backpackers trip all over the world instead of mountains trip...dah tua sih ! therefore, nowadays, for more adventure trips, RDAG in mutual benefits, join together with younger yet ambitious team such as Bigfoot Hunters, a newly formed adventure team with seemingly less visible in RDAG calender due to global phenomenon of obesity !

Gunung Datuk 16 June 07

We were out for another fat burning session again, this time we choose Gunung Datuk 884m... trekking to Gunung Datuk was fine, and not as excessive as the other mountain as it is actually a 'hill' rather than a mountain, but this not an anomaly as a lot more other places the call mountain e.g. Gunung Rapat Ipoh, Gunung Berapit..etc..which actually not even a hill ...ha..ha... anyway it was good fat burning session....pancit sih...!

Gunung Batu Putih & Gua Tempurung

Gunung Batu Putih or an English direct translation White Stone Mountain, situated in Ipoh, is one of a mountain on a wish list those who addicted to climbing in Malaysia. It is not as famous as Gunung Tahan or even Gunung Kinabalu, but the track, is almost equally challenging and but the plus point this spot is still well preserved. But having said that, you are at high risk of getting lost into this super virgin jungle and might be ended up become another Tarzan in Malaya......

While Gua Tempurung, it is a gigantic massive limestones cave, worth to visit. Nowadays, after this place has been commercialiazed and the management was taken over by state government, the place is quite safe even for beginner compared to my last visit almost 10 years ago where we practically just risked our life crawling in this dark cave...silap-silap kena makan ular sawa... ha..ha.... Although a bit over price...compare to 10 years ago ..free... , but probably this could be the only way to preserve the place .......
